Our school, Woodland Elementary, is located in the scenic town of Dildo, Trinity Bay, Newfoundland which is approximately 100 kilometers from the capital city of St. John's. Our students come from the communities of Blaketown, Broad Cove, New Harbour, Old Shop, and South Dildo.
We are a K-6 school which offers a variety of extracurricular activities to our students because we believe in the education of the whole child. We are also dedicated to creating a safe, healthy and positive environment for teaching and learning for all of our children and staff.

Dear Parents and Guardians,
Our school and the school district are working on ways to assist students who are having difficulty connecting with teachers and classmates in an online learning environment. We are assessing the level of access that students have to electronic devices or the internet in their home. To determine the level of need, the district has created a survey using Google Forms. The following link will take you to the form. Please click or copy and paste this link into your browser to complete the survey if possible:
The results of this survey will allow us to best determine how to support our students. Thank you for taking the time to complete this. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact me, I am happy to help.
